System of a Down bassist does new Bad Brains video...

This new Bad Brains video was directed by Shavo Odadjian of System of a Down, and was shot by Danny Hiele in Portland and at the Sasquatch Festival. While I’m at it, I also wanted to include 1988 Bad Brains clips from Daytona Beach and Holland, and 2006 clips of HR’s reggae band and from one of the final shows at CBGB’s with HR wearing a motorcycle helmet during the song 'Coptic Times.' The new record 'Build A Nation' was produced by Adam Yauch of the Beastie Boys, who got their start opening for Bad Brains in New York in the early 1980’s.

Update: In this Aug. '08 video clip from Miami, HR has apparently handcuffed himself to a woman who had to stand with him for the entire set. Meanwhile, Bad Brains played Sao Paulo this year with Israel Joseph I instead of HR. I wonder why...
